The goal is Simple:

Provide opportunities that allow attendees to connect offline, be inspired to follow their passion, and feel empowered to build their companies. Big Omaha has connected over 3,000 entrepreneurs, innovators, and creatives by engaging dozens of nationally-recognized speakers that have the ability to influence the regional and national narrative of the Midwest entrepreneurial community.

Big Omaha follows our familiar format:

More than a dozen entrepreneurial speakers over two and a half days accentuating the unique culture, people, and venues of its host city.

Here's what people are saying about Big Omaha:

“Big Omaha changed my outlook and showed me what was possible for my life and my business.”

- Ben Milne, Dwolla co-founder

“Unlike Web 2.0 Expo or South by Southwest, Big Omaha is about what’s next, not what’s already happened. Yea, it’s in the middle of the midwest, but that’s what makes it great.”

- Andrew Mager

“Big Omaha only lasted a few days, and yet its mission, it seems, is felt far beyond the city limits.”

- Wendy Townley, Big Omaha attendee

“Big Omaha and its namesake city are prime examples of a community consciously changing itself.”

- Jim McKelvey, Square co-founder

For the Entrepreneur:

You are our inspiration. As you are learning how to build your business, Big Omaha will bring relevance regardless of what stage you find yourself. It's an opportunity to be inspired by those who have gone before you, and to inspire those who are looking up to you...and have some fun along the way.

For the College Student:

You are our future. You can build anything you desire, right here at home. Big Omaha will challenge your mind in the ability to discover new ideas and maintain an open perspective for creative career opportunities. At the opening party, you'll geek out on the latest technology with co-founders who will become friends, and by the closing party, you'll be on your way towards living a life uniquely your own.

For the Corporate Genius:

You make moves. You enjoy the foundations and strengths that come with company history, but you have a great appreciation for the innovation happening within the entrepreneurial space. All ties and hosiery were left in your carry-on as you engage to lead conversations across key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
